Terms of Use

These conditions govern every visit, search, and use of content on Delta County Criminal History. Continuing to browse means that you accept them. If you disagree with any provision, stop using the website.

NO FCRA USE. Delta County Criminal History is privately operated and has no government affiliation. Neither this website nor its advertising partners offers a service for credit, employment, insurance, tenant, or other Fair Credit Reporting Act use. The site organizes public-record resources in Delta County, Texas. It is not a private investigation firm or consumer reporting agency.

1. What This Website Is

This is a private reference site, independent from all government offices. It does not store official criminal records, perform official checks, retrieve records, or submit filings.

Its content identifies the Delta County Sheriff, local courts, Texas Department of Public Safety, Texas Public Sex Offender Registry, and other sources that maintain their own records. Some pages also connect to outside search tools.

Government custodians apply the Texas Public Information Act in Government Code Chapter 552 to public-record requests. Texas Government Code sections 411.083 and 411.135 separately govern criminal-history dissemination and the narrower DPS public name-search product. Those laws do not make this private website a government custodian.

2. Rules for Using This Site

You agree that you will not:

  • Use the website in violation of federal, state, or local law
  • Threaten, stalk, or harass a person with information found here
  • Apply content to a credit, employment, insurance, or housing decision
  • Attempt unauthorized entry into any account, server, or system
  • Deploy a bot, scraper, or other automated collection tool
  • Interfere with the site's speed, security, or availability to others

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

Information from this site or a linked tool may not be used to stalk, harass, intimidate, threaten, or unlawfully discriminate. Texas registry information exists for public safety awareness. Misuse against a listed person, including vigilantism or unlawful action, can lead to criminal or civil consequences.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA. We do not generate background checks, credit reports, or consumer reports of any kind. Neither we nor our advertising partners provide services built for screening job applicants, reviewing rental applications, calculating insurance rates, or judging creditworthiness. You agree not to use data from this site or any linked tool to:

  • Make a hiring, retention, or termination decision
  • Evaluate an applicant for a lease or other housing
  • Set insurance terms or judge eligibility for credit
  • Decide access to a license, permit, or public benefit
  • Carry out any other action regulated by the FCRA

A check for a regulated purpose must come from a lawful, FCRA-compliant source and process, not this website.

5. No Legal Advice

Content is general information, not legal advice. Only a licensed Texas attorney can apply a warrant, charge, conviction, expunction, or nondisclosure rule to a specific set of facts.

6. No Warranties

Everything on this site is provided "as is." We do not guarantee that:

  • Information will always be complete, accurate, or current
  • Access will remain uninterrupted
  • Every page will be free from errors or security flaws
  • An outside search result will be accurate or comprehensive

Charges, outcomes, custody status, and access restrictions can change. No content here is an official statement by a court, sheriff, or other government agency.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

Links lead to government offices, courts, agencies, legal resources, and outside search providers. We do not control those destinations, their terms, privacy practices, prices, content, or availability.

8. Intellectual Property

Text, graphics, logos, and code belong to Delta County Criminal History or its content partners. Copying, distribution, modification, or derivative use requires prior written permission.

14. Severability

If one provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. The affected term will be narrowed only as needed.
